******IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT******* It is our pleasure to invite everyone to the Missouri Shorthorn Association picnic and meeting on JUNE 12th in Sedalia, MO. ...The meeting will take place at the state fairgrounds in the Youth Building starting promptly at 10:30am with a potluck meal following the meeting that will conclude by 1pm. Please bring a side dish/dessert. Hamburgers will be provided. The Shorthorn junior show for the Missouri Cattleman's Association will take place approximately in the early afternoon so feel free to stay and watch the juniors during their show. Dues will be $30 for the year and will be collected at the meeting. If you cannot attend you can send them to Missouri Shorthorn Association, c/o Tisha Ostermeyer, 4795 Magruder Rd Odessa, MO 64076. Please consider joing if you are not a member and if you are a current member please pay your dues! We use the majority of the dues to sponsor junior awards and provide the meat for meals at the picnic and state fair luncheon. We would like to encourage everyone to attend the meeting if possible as we will be electing the new board of directors and discussing future events. If you are interested in being a board member please reach out to us. There will also be a Shorthorn Lassie meeting following the conclusion of the meeting/meal. Dues for the Lassie's can be sent to Darles White, 436 NW 800 Rd. Warrensburg, MO 64093. We looking forward to seeing everyone on June 12th. There will be a newsletter also being sent to the membership list.
