Top 5 Reasons Tucker's Place is One of my FAVORITE local restaurants here in St. Louis for DATE NIGHT! 1) My hubby and I have been going to the west county location for 20+ years for date night! One particular night I didn't pay attention to what he ordered and after we were served our dins he said I had to try his sauteed veggies and this "green bean" was the best, I loved it...it was seasoned and yummy. Turns out he tricked "Piki Niki'', it was the bottom part of an aspar...agus stalk (my most loathed veggie at the time). After the initial betrayal of my taste buds I couldn't believe I actually liked that darn asparagus! 2) Their bone-in ribeye steak IS THE BEST...my mouth is watering as I type this. 3) The owners used to be musicians with zero restaurant experience! Gotta love hard work and determination. I'd say they've figured this restaurant thing out! 4) Their portion sizes are HUGE, I always have enough left over for lunch the next day. 5) They've got the cutest courtyard seating and the staff is so nice.
