On Friday, 22 of our Seniors in HVAC, Welding, and Construction attended a Senior Visit Pipefitters Local 533 organized by NICE - KC. Several of our students are very interested in pursuing this career, and plan to pick up their applications to begin job searching.

NICE - KC facilitated another Senior visit with ABC Heart of America Chapter this morning. Our seniors in Construction and HVAC took the opportunity to pass their resume to participating contractors in hopes of securing some employment as they graduate in less than 10 weeks.

Seniors from THS visited JPI Glass to learn about their glazer apprenticeship program. While students were doing hands-on activities at JPI Glass, we were able ...to catch up with a student who graduated from THS last year and is currently in their apprenticeship program! He spoke with the group about what he has enjoyed about the program. TUSD students are able to attend these Senior Days because of our partnership with NICE - KC. See more
