Norman and Graves is excited to announce the addition of our new attorney, Eric Korth! Eric graduated from UMKC School of Law in May 2019 and was recently sworn in to the Missouri Bar. We are happy to have him as part of our team!

She currently serves as the Community Support Vice-Chair on the AWL Board of Directors and the Co-Chair of the UMKC Young Alumni Committee. Additionally, she is a recent Missouri Bar Leadership Academy graduate which focused on cultivating leadership skills and developing a group service project. She is passionate and enthusiastic about the prospect of representing Jackson County’s young lawyers. Sammi Sader currently serves as Chair for the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Young Lawyer Section of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and previously participated in KCMBA's Bar Leadership and Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy. Sammi has been an Associate at Fisher Law LLC since 2015, and practices in the areas of family law, adoption, guardianship, and appellate law. Additionally, she serves as a Guardian Ad Litem representing children in cases involving allegations of abuse and neglect. She’s a member of the Johnson County Family Law Inns of Courts and the Association for Women Lawyers. Sammi is fortunate enough to work with people of all backgrounds, and hopes to bring this experience to the YLS council.

This past week Norman and Graves had the opportunity to host interns for KCMBF’s new Student Law Academy program that Phyllis helped create and put together. The interns were able to visit courtrooms, watch trials, sit in on depositions, learn about the process of mediations, and assist in legal work in the office over the last couple weeks. Tonight was their graduation and we would like to congratulate all of the SLA interns on a job well done!

KCMBF’s new program, Student Law Academy, is underway! The student interns have already attended orientation and visited the United States Court for the Western... District of Missouri where they met with Judge Bough, watched Judge Wimes preside over a trial, and met with Judge Counts. They have enjoyed lunch with their mentors, who are providing valuable guidance as they transition to different firms every week.
