These are the fees that are paid to the mortgage lender to obtain an interest rate (discount points) or a service (underwriting, processing). Title FeesTitle companies are often closing agents for real estate transactions. In its role as agent, the title company obtains signatures on all of the closing documents, and the title company also receives and distributes payments related to the conveyance transaction.
