Need to pay your annual dues or purchase more shares? Come to the fairgrounds this Fri 7/31 between 6pm to 8pm. All dues MUST be paid by 7/31 in order to vote your shares at the Annual Meeting on Tue 10/6 at 7pm.

My first Newton County Fair was nothing short of a wonderful experience. Through the storms and summer heat, I met so many hard working kids that got the opport...unity to showcase the projects that they had been working on. To all the exhibitors, families and people that put on Newton County Fair, thank you for your generosity! I loved getting to capture this years memories! Tractor Pull Info: The tractor pull is not associated with the fair and has never been part of our event. It has also been cancelled for this year.

The pig scramble scheduled for this evening has been cancelled. There are still lots of other activities happening tonight, including live entertainment, Hunter Hathcoat Band, along with the carnival, and all of our food vendors!

The Newton County Fair showdeo and open show tommorow is being closed to any outside horses. Only horses that are already stalled at the fair are allowed to show. If you have questions contact me personally at 417-385-8972.

This year, we have over 10 food vendors, ranging from BBQ and cajun to asian cuisine and homemade ice cream sandwiches, and of course, funnel cakes and corn dogs. The fair kicks off today at 4pm! Here are the highlights for each day, of course we have activities and competitions scheduled throughout the day, so you're sure to find something fun to enjoy while you're there! We want everyone to enjoy the fair, but please take advantage of the safety measures we have in place and remember, if you feel sick, please stay home!

The new sheep and swine barn looks fantastic! We hope you can enjoy it during your visit to this year’s fair. We kick off Wednesday at 4pm!

We’ve had a last minute cancellation form one of our food vendors. We are looking for a kettle corn/pork rind vendor for next week’s fair. Let us know if you have a contact!

All Indoor Tags MUST be picked up by noon today in the commercial building. They will not be mailed.
