Happy #mugshotmonday friends! It’s a cozy rainy day here in STL. And while I love being in the studio, I could honestly use a nap. Do rainy days make anyone else sleepy?

Happy to share that the lovely on the right went to her forever home last week. (Thank you Mark! ) So excited that my work is still going out into the world. Until recently, I didn’t realize how much of my feedback and motivation came from art fairs. There’s nothing better than watching someone else connect with something you created. It’s fulfilling in a way I can’t even describe.

Mark your calendar’s for #ArtistsSunday November 29, 2020. The new nationwide movement to shop art and support the artists you love (including those at the Foundry ). I hope you’ll join us for Artist Sunday at the Foundry Art Centre. I’ll have a booth set up along side several other wonderful local artists. The Grand Hall has plenty of room for social distancing shopping, and it’s free and open to the public. If you enjoy giving pottery or other art as holiday gifts, this ...is a wonderful opportunity to connect and engage while checking off some items on your holiday wish list. . . Artists Sunday Sunday, November 29 12 PM to 5 PM . Foundry Art Centre 520 N Main St Charles, MO 63301 *look for the red metal sculpture at the entrance to our parking lot See more

I have missed art fairs so much. I didn’t realize how much I depended on them, not just for my lively hood, but for social time, motivation, creative feedback, and just connecting with other people over clay. So I’m very happy to be participating in Schalfly’s Virtual Art Outside on Sept 4-6. They’ve put together a wonderful lineup of artists from the St Louis region, and this is a great opportunity to support your artist community while adding a little joy to your home. (Swipe left for a preview of some lovelies I’ll have up for grabs. More photos to come.)

Have I mentioned I use my berry bowl everyday? (I have one in Spearmint.) It travels out to the garden with me to pick fresh cherry tomatoes, then back to the sink to be washed. The little plate catches any drips as it sits on my kitchen table. It’s such a simple but satisfying design. I have several colors up for grabs ($68). DM me if you need one of these lovelies in your life.
