Nursing Home Week 2021 has come to a end. We spent our last day celebrating our staff who have given so much this past year. We had a carry in lunch, tug of war, and ended our day outside with the residents , we were to busy having fun and I forgot to many capture pictures. Thank you to everyone made this week so fun!! We are blessed with a great staff, Administrator, and board of directors who always make this week possible

Today was Shamrock Day and Nursing Home Olympics, which consists of dressing, feeding, doing a skit and driving a housekeeping cart. We had a blast!!

Today we celebrated Bonnie for her 14 years with us. We wish her the best for retirement!

Super Hero Day. We had a blast! Started off our day with saran wrap game and ended it with minute to win it games. We laughed til we cried. We truly have the best employees and residents I wish I would of taken videos so everyone could hear the cheering and laughter we shared today and everyday.

Day 2! Crazy sock and Hair Day. We enjoyed Mystery Bingo and Ice Cream Sundae Bar!

Pj Day was a success!! We started our day with donuts for the staff and ended with a spa complete with face masks, feet soak, lotion, warm towels, fruit and Mimosas. Tomorrow is Crazy sock and hair day. Stayed tuned for pictures.

We would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to New Haven Middle School Student Council for the amazing lunch they provided for staff and residents and the gift basket of goodies gornour bingo store!!

Today is the first day of National Nursing Home Week!! This past year has been tough on everyone. We are looking forward to a fun filled week celebrating each other!! With that being said. Tomorrow is Pj day!!

Friday we took advantage of the beautiful weather to celebrate our lovely ladies for Mother's Day. Everyone loved their flowers and yummy cookies

We are currently looking for Sunshine helpers and dietary aides. If you know a responsible teenager looking for a rewarding job, send them our way. Must be 16.

National Nursing Home Week 2021 is right around the corner. This a time where Nursing homes across the country spend time honoring their residents and staff. This past year has not been easy so we are looking forward to a week full of fun!! Now would be a great time to send a card or write a letter to connect with our friends at NHCC.

Huge shout out to Mercy for the basket full of activities for our residents and Dollar General for the donation of perfume sets for our bingo store. We truly appreciate everything!!

This was by far one of my favorite activities we have done. We spent the afternoon listening to our residents reminisce on their love stories. As you can see by their smiles, they enjoyed it too. I am missing a few pictures, I will get them posted tomorrow.

We received many questions about the newest article floating around about nursing homes opening backup. Nursing homes are allowed to open when a facility has no positive covid cases and a county rate of under 10%. While we are blessed to have no covid, Franklin county remains above 10% positivity rate. We miss everyone so much but feel with cases rising daily, window visitors at this time is our safest option. Families can window visit at anytime, we ask if the window is open that you wear a mask and keep 6ft distance. If you have any questions please call facility. Thank you

A little weekend karoke

Big thanks for all the recent bingo store donations!! We have been able to stock bingo store almost daily, as most items are flying off the shelves!! If you are interested in donating, feel free to contact Emily.

After discussion this morning, it was decided that we were going to continue to postpone face to face visits due to the rising number of COVID 19 cases. This situation will be re- evaluated on August 17,2020. We will allow window visits at this time. We will allow the window to be opened, but we ask that you stay 6 feet away from the screen.

Miss Donna took part this week in a two day Beauty is Ageless Pageant since we are unable to attend in person, the pageant was held via zoom. We are proud to announce Donna is this year's 2nd Runner up in MHCA Beauty is Ageless Pageant!!

!!ATTENTION FAMILIES AND FRIENDS!! Due to due rising covid numbers in Franklin County we will be stopping outside visits effective July 26th. We are going to put them on hold for two weeks and which at that time we will reevaluate. We hate to do this but we want to do all we can to keep our residents safe. Thank you
