ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT! Danielle Feinstein graduated in 2017 with a BM in Vocal Performance. "I made the decision soon after graduating that the traveling performer lifestyle just wasn't for me, and I've since worked to combine my love of the arts and my leadership skills by working with various non-profits around town. When COVID hit, I decided it was time to branch out and try something new, so I now work as an administrator for an investment firm here in St. Louis. However, I d...o still keep myself busy with various performance opportunities. I am currently the Soprano Young Artist for the Bach Society of Saint Louis and I regularly perform with Union Avenue Opera. At the beginning of quarantine, I helped produce and emceed a cabaret live stream called "The Show Must Go On" for Over Due Theatre Company which then turned into a livestream series a la SNL titled "The Confined Creators Collective." While I do feel very much at home in the classical realm, jazz and soul music are my passion and I am looking to build my own cabaret to be performed within the next year." "Photos include a screenshot of me hosting "The Show Must Go On" that a friend took from his TV and a picture of me performing at the most recent Bach Society Young Artist Recital." #WebsterUMusic

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT! Lindsey White (Bachelor of Arts in Music, 2015) is the Artist Liaison with St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. "After graduating, I interned with several opera and musical theater companies across the country. In 2017, I started working with the SLSO full-time as their Artist Liaison. I assist visiting artists, conductors, and composers to finalize their contracts and arrange their travel and accommodations. Most importantly: I hand out the checks at the end of th...e night." "I have been incredibly lucky to meet so many artists during my time at the SLSO, but my favorite memory was getting to meet the composer John Williams, whose favorite drink is vodka!" "The SLSO has been fortunate to stay open during the pandemic, and we are grateful for the chance to hold Chamber Music concerts to limited audiences. The music industry as a whole has been devastated, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to participate in the making of music here in St. Louis!" #WebsterUMusic
