Thanks to the 412 passengers who came out to the Museum of Transportation and rode with us this father's day. We were proud to have had you aboard as our guests.

The Museum of Transportation Trolley Volunteers have volunteer opportunities available in all areas such as: Operators (Motormen/Conductors ) R-O-W & fleet maintenance, restoration and shop work including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, glass, painting, sheet metal, welding, etc. No special skills needed. Training sessions for Operators/Motormen are conducted in the Spring. This includes classroom sessions, practical hands-on operation of all four cars and an exam...ination at the end. Operators/Motormen must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid state issued drivers license. For further information contact any MTTV member at the Museum or send an email to [email protected]. The only requirement we have is that you work two shifts a month. Maintenance/restoration/shop work is conducted year round on Thursdays and Saturdays. Our operating season runs from the first part of April through the end of October. Operations are depended on car, crew, unforseen circumstances and of course, the weather. Our cars operate on a rotating schedule on Thursdays and Fridays, 9:20 AM 12:30 PM; Saturdays from 9:00 AM until 3:20 PM and on Sundays from 11:20 AM until 3:20 PM. The Museum of Transportation will be closed Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. We will reopen Monday morning, April 17th, 2017, at 9:00 AM. Streetcar operations will resume Thursday morning, April 19, 2017 with the first run of the day departing the Roberts Building Streetcar Stop at 9:20 AM.
