Congratulations to the graduates of the Fire Service Leadership Enhancement Program (FSLEP) 2021 Encore Delivery. Thank you to the participants and instructors Randy Novak and Gary Wilson for sharing their experiences and perspectives. FSLEP is a unique professional development program designed to prepare emergency service leaders for the opportunities and challenges they face. In March, Western Lewis County Fire Protection District hosted Emergency Vehicle Driver training. Firefighters from several area departments spent a day in the ...classroom and then finished the second day by completing a competency course and written test. The intent of the class is to teach drivers to better use their own thought process when operating Emergency apparatus. A big thanks to MU Fire and Rescue Training Institute for providing the class. Agencies attending included R-4 Fire Protection District, Newark MO, Rural Fire Department, and Western Lewis County Fire Protection District.
