Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, Cotton, and Rice Futures Charts. January 27, 2021 The corn, soybeans, and wheat futures have all pulled back after the January 12 USDA ...report. However, prices are attempting a rebound based on Chinese demand, tightening supplies in the World and hope the COVID vaccine will lead to a rebound in World economic growth. Cotton continues to move higher on tightening stocks and Rice has broken out of a sideway trading range it has been in for several months. Going forward key fundamentals to prices will be weather in Brazil and Argentina, Chinese imports, and currency values. The weakness in the U.S. dollar compared to the strength of the Chinese Yaun has helped drive prices higher. The tight ending stocks in soybeans should keep new crop prices of all our commodities supported going into spring as we determine the acreage mix.
