Dr. Nicole Nichols, an assistant professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Investigator at Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center was awarded a 4 year grant by the National Institutes of Health.

Kevin D. Gillis is a professor and Resident Dalton Investigator. Dr Gillis was recently appointed as the Chair of the Department of Biomedical, Biological and Chemical Engineering at the University of Missouri with a joint appointment in the Department of Medical Pharmacology and Physiology at MU’s School of Medicine. His current research includes developing microchip devices to assay cell secretion.
