Oh Deer!!!! This was "found" by the mower in our new expanded parking area.

First mowing of 2021. Midfield looking both ways.

We are so long we are at mile marker 67 and 68.

So there I was flying down the runway on my mower and I heard a loud whine. I quickly shut down my engine thinking it was about to seize when an A10 buzzed Mt. Eagle. Scared the heck out of me. I think I wet my mower :-(

Runway Status Rain + sun = long grass Mower + Robert = short grass and hot Robert. ... So, Robert is hot and the grass is short.

Caution: Mt. Eagle is remote. The road is dirt, rough, bumpy and steep. The runway is short, narrow, bumpy and surrounded by trees. ... I love it but it's not for everybody. Drive in or Fly in at your own risk.

Camping Area We mowed the runway and camping area today. We also sprayed for bugs and removed a tree full of a million bees.

Mow Job Snow Job I just mowed the runway again and Google shows it long. I guess I better mow again tomorrow.

Clear for Landing Mowed on shortest setting. Cut grass blown off to the side. Dogleg nearly gone. Rain coming. Life is good. Oh, beware of turtles.
