Alumni Spotlight Dr. Helen Yuan Zhuang co-founded the Globally Responsive Education and Teaching (GREAT) Program last year, aiming to provide a platform for MSU faculty to develop global teaching and research opportunities. She is now welcoming all MSU faculty to apply for the new supporting grant for International Virtual Exchange Project GREAT just launched this semester. Her near future plan also includes the GREAT Journal and GREAT conference. Please stay tuned! Dr. Zhuang graduated with an MA in English (TESOL) from MSU in 2009. She always sees Springfield and loves Missouri State University as her home in the US, so she joined International Programs in 2015 after receiving her PhD in Applied Linguistics from Northern Arizona University. She feels so lucky and grateful to be able to serve MSU and local community.
