A great picnic put on by the Criminal Justice Society Club! The purpose of the Criminal Justice Society is to provide extracurricular opportunities to further explore critical issues involving criminology and criminal justice, as well as providing students with valuable information for making decisions about career choices and further graduate level study, through a regular program of speakers and other resources! If you're interested in joining contact: President Joshua Woolfington or Advisor Diane Leamy.

Students in Ms. Saxon’s Conflict, Communication, and Stress in CJS Professions course recently identified the values that motivate them to seek work in criminal justice-related professions. Students hoping to work in all kinds of areas, including victim advocacy, juvenile justice, the courts, and law enforcement named similar values, such as Justice, Respect, and Kindness as motivators that help define their sense of purpose and inspire them to choose work that serves others. What motivates you to work in criminal justice-related fields?
Be sure to visit Dr. Marijana Kotlaja today at the #StudyAwayFair infront of Carrington Hall to talk about her class in the Balkans! There are lots of other great trips and opportunities as well! @studyawaymsu
