At #MercyLincoln we’re honored to serve our community, and reviews like this one are just icing on the cake! "Although a trip to the ER isn't something we look forward to, I must say my visit to your ER in Troy, MO was painless and stress free. I didn't encounter a lengthy waiting time before I was seen. In fact, I didn't have to wait at all....something I have never experienced before, ever! Your staff couldn't have been kinder or more professional. While there, I was inform...ed that I would need a CT scan. Again, there was no waiting involved for that either. Everyone, from the moment I walked through the door, greeted me with a smile and told me what to expect. I know this is going to sound a bit weird but they came close to making my ER visit "enjoyable." Thanks to everyone in the ER for taking such wonderful care of me. I know your doctors and nurses are being stretched to the limit because of COVID 19 and must be exhausted to say the least but while I was there, they gave me their full attention from start to finish. Thank you for taking such good care of me." See more

We’re not used to this kind of loss. Mercy Nurse Wanda Brown has been treating COVID-19 patients since the pandemic began. Today, we asked her about the emotional toll it’s taken, and what’s ahead.
