New Scholarships at MSSU for the fall of 2021

A new program is underway at Missouri Southern. Global Leaders, a premier scholars program, was just announced and was made possible in part by a lead gift of $...1 million from the estate of Mr. Joel Newby. Newby was a Joplin Junior College alumnus from the class of 1947. He was a distinguished professor at the University of Houston and had a passion for helping students. He wanted them to achieve their maximum potential despite their economic situation and his thoughtful and generous planned gift will ensure that students have the opportunity to do just that.
