As we close out this year's #PublicPowerWeek and #PublicNaturalGasWeek, we're grateful for all our 120-plus member #MoMunis with #HometownUtilities of all kinds -- not only #PublicPower and public gas, but also our many cities that provide water, wastewater and broadband services to their citizen-owners. Together, we are truly a community of communities.

Local jobs. Fewer outages. Lower bills. And - your local voice matters. Good reasons we celebrate #PublicPowerWeek with the 86 #MoMunis that serve more than 800,000 Missourians with city-owned electric #HometownUtilities.

Missouri Public Utility Alliance 07.07.2020

Among Missouri's 86 #MoMunis celebrating #PublicPowerWeek and the 41 others observing #PublicNaturalGasWeek there are 19 like City Utilities of Springfield, MO that operate *both* hometown electric & natural gas utilities for their citizen-owners. This week those cities get to make 'double celebrations' of the value of providing city-owned locally-run #HometownUtilities.
