WOW, this is AMAZING! So grateful for Whiteman Air Force Base for donating 290 brand new coats that we were quite in need of to get our guests through the winter. Thank you Whiteman Air Force Base If you have any coats, shoes, or clothing to donate you can bring them to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception parish office M-F between 9 am- 2 pm

Meet the newest little member of the MGM family, John Henry Tran, born on Oct 9 which just so happened to be the feast day of St. John Henry Newman and Jen Mason Tran & Victor Tran met at the Mizzou John Henry Newman Center

CONGRATULATIONS RODNEY! Rodney, pictured on far left, has been such a special part of our Morning Glory family for almost 4 years. He served with us through the AARP, seniors back to work program helping keep our facility clean and maintained. While we were sad to say goodbye we are so thrilled that he is thriving and able to take care of all of his own needs with his new full time job as a Community District Ambassador, helping keep the streets of KC graffiti and liter free. Rodney, we are so grateful for your hard work, dedication and love for everyone here at MGM and we are happy that your new job is still downtown where we get to see you often. Keep up the good work, you made it!

Tomorrow morning Fox channel 4 news will air its weekly Pay It Forward segment on their morning show; they came to MGM on Wednesday for a surprise visit to thank our director, John Kraus personally for the work at MGM and with the homeless community in Kansas City it’ll be just a 1 minute segment so tune in in the morning!
