What day is it? Historically for me, the days inbetween Christmas and New Years kinda blur together. . but that coupled with covid... I no longer have a concept of linear time, I don't know what day it is, all I know is I showered today so that's a win in my book.

As many of you know, most of my family lives in Colorado, many of my friends have moved there, and I do consider it a home away from home. Last week, my Aunt and Uncle had to evacuate their home in Estes Park quite quickly as the winds changed course, and in a moments notice, the wall of flames were headed right for them. Thankfully, it looks as though their house is okay, but there are so many others (over 300 homes and +300,000 acres and counting) that have been effected by... this horrible, man-made diaster. It's that time of year again, and even though this year has put a wrench in so many different plans, I'm happy to announce I'll be doing the "Holiday Mini's" again this year. In true "2020" form, this year's sessions will look a bit different from previous years. New location! A very unique private residence in old Overland Park. No props this year, cuz Covid. So please bring your own (garland,books, etc)... Temp Checks at the door - everyone will be getting their tempeture checked. I'm spreading out our sessions, so there shouldn't be any over-lapping of families, and it'll allow extra time for air to circulate in the space. (I will have a fan running for additional circulation support) Because of this, there will be fewer time slots then in previous years. Thank you to the Campbell/Rhodes/Schwartz (@campbelldomehouse )families for allowing me to use your space for this. Because of your generosity this annual tradition will continue. This little rocking chair is over 100 years old and belonged to her Great Grandma. I love that her mom wanted to add such a treasured family heirloom to our session.
