Opportunity! This is an opportunity for recovery programs if you have employees with student loans or want to attract employees with student loans. Once you become an approved agency, your employees can then apply for HRSA's student loan forgiveness program. To qualify, you must be located in a county with a drug overdose rate that exceeds the national average. Pretty much any type of organization located in these areas qualify, including recovery community centers and faith-based recovery programs:

MCRSP recently accredited a new recovery home called the Barn House, In2Action's latest addition to its growing program in Columbia, Mo. In2Action was founded by Dan Hanneken in 2011 and today serves about 60 men in recovery at any given time in a series of houses and apartment buildings in Columbia. The program focuses its attention on men returning from prison, based on the fact that the founder is a former drug addict and ex-offender himself. For his work, Dan was awarded the 2019 Mental Health Champion Award in Missouri. For more information about In2Action, go to www.in2action.org/
