Cool Soviet era hat. Any ideas as to a unit?

In honor of Veterans Day the Museum will be closed 11 November.
Look what we received. It's a Spanish hat of some kind. Can anyone identify this for us?
Who remembers training here? Aerial photo of Camp Clark, MO from back in the day.

We were honored to have our Commanding Officer, MG Levon Cumpton, visit the reenactors site this afternoon and spend some time checking out their equipment and rifles. He also was able to speak to a Korean War Veteran.
A little help here... A photo of a 203rd AAA member at Santa Monica, CA in early 1942 carrying a clip of 40mm ammo? Yes? Or...?
A few photos from our Open House weekend, featuring reenactors, vehicles and weapons demonstrations. Considering it is 2020 and Covid-19 forced us to cancel the event in May we had a strong turnout of visitors. We hope everyone who attended had an enjoyable and informative time. To all our reenactors, thank you for coming and we hope to see you next year!
Cool building. Check it out.
