For today's #WorkZoneWednesday, we're taking a closer look at MoDOT's largest project in a decade--the I-270 North project in our MoDOT - St. Louis District. Last month saw the demolition of the West Florissant Avenue bridge. The new bridge will have eight lanes, an unsignalized turnaround lane for eastbound drivers wanting to access I-270 West, lighting, and spaces for pedestrians and cyclists. For the next few months, thru traffic on W. Florissant is closed. But drivers c...an find detour routes and other updates by visiting the project website at http://www.i270north.org. Remember to take it slow and stay alert when you approach a work zone. Lives are at stake! #BUPD
