All lanes of northbound I-55 at Route 67 in Jefferson County, are now open.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a virtual public meeting on June 10 between 4 and 7 p.m. to discuss an upcoming bridge maintenance project along Interstate 55 between Interstate 44 and Lindbergh. The project will involve significant traffic shifts over two years, a full closure on a section of the Carondelet Connector in 2023 and the removal of a pedestrian bridge north of Reavis Barracks Road. Northbound I-55 near Route 67 is closed in Jefferson County, following an earlier crash at that location. This closure is expected to last approximately one hour or so.

Crews have been out since noon treating our state roads/highways across the district in preparation for the winter weather moving in the next couple hours. According to National Weather Service at https://www.weather.gov/, this storm will last non-stop for approximately 12 hours into tomorrow. Therefore, if you have to commute during this timeframe, you will more than like have to travel on some snow covered roads. All westbound I-64 lanes at Boones Crossing are now open

Currently, crews have one eastbound lane closed on I-70, just before the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge due to an expansion joint on the roadway approaching the bridge. Sunday, February 14, at 6 a.m., crews will close all eastbound lanes at the river to start making repairs. However, due to cold temperatures and expected winter weather, the interstate could remain closed for at least a week before the repair is complete and the roadway is safe to drive on. Next Saturday, November 7, at 7 a.m., crews will close the ramp from northbound I-55 to westbound I-44 in the city of St. Louis for a week to work on median barriers along the ramp. More details and the detour available here: https://www.modot.org/node/21324

Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-270 to eastbound I-44 this Saturday (Oct. 31) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to set girders over the ramp. If needed, crews will also close the ramp Wednesday, November 4, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for the work. https://www.modot.org/node/21296

GREAT NEWS for drivers who use the I-70 Blanchette Bridge! After eight months of work on the I-70 Blanchette Bridge, crews will begin to return the eastbound and westbound directions of I-70 back to their respective bridges in November. Update as of 305 p.m.: This has now cleared. Original post: Westbound I-44 is currently closed near Lewis Road in St. Louis county due to a serious crash -- the westbound interstate is expected to remain closed for several hours. Traffic is being diverted off the interstate at Antire Road.
