Sheriff’s Report May 26- June 3, 2021 Every spring we have an increase in requests for trailer inspections. Most commonly, the trailers are homemade and don't have an assigned VIN number. In order to receive a title and license the trailer, the Sheriff's Office will inspect the trailer. There is a twenty-five dollar fee associated with the inspection. Once the proper paperwork has been completed it allows the owner to license the trailer....Continue reading
Cooling off in the swimming hole is a great way to spend a summer day. Just be careful. Don’t jump or dive into water that is shallow or murky. You don’t know what could be below the surface.
Merry Christmas, from our family to yours!

We want to thank the High Hill Christian Church for inviting us to their Great Pumpkin Party. Deputy Hobbs and Deputy Mathis both agreed it was a lot of fun. K-9 Lalka particularly enjoyed the ball pit and the extra attention she received. We would also like to thank Kellee Gentry for the treats she dropped by the office.

SHERIFF’S REPORT 10/9/2020 - 10/15/2020 Over the past few weeks, we have noticed an increase in Burglaries, Vehicle Thefts, and Stealing from vehicles. As the temperatures get cooler, people tend to warm their vehicles up. Every year we have reports of a vehicle being stolen while it...Continue reading
