2 week countdown to the Missouri State Cornhusking Contest.

Missouri State & National Cornhusking 10.07.2021

The Missouri State CornHuskers Association officers have had numerous discussions concerning the 2020 Missouri State Corn Husking contest. After reaching out to our local health department on what the requirements would be and with all the continuing changes, a long discussion occurred at our meeting this evening (July 28). We have made the heartbreaking decision to cancel the 2020 Missouri State Cornhusking contest. The social distancing guidelines and other requirements for... the contest due to COVID-19 would be too great to enforce and overcome to ensure the safety of our volunteers, guests, contestants and community, which is our top priority. We understand this will stir many emotions. This was a very difficult decision the association had to make. We will begin planning for the 2021 Missouri State Corn Husking contest in the near future. Save the date! It will be September 16-18, 2021. While we'll be taking a break for this year, we can't wait to see our corn husking family in 2021!!! God Bless! Be Safe!
