One of my clients has severe mobility limitations and dementia. His wife cares for him 24/7 at their home. They give us information and support. They check back in on us to see how things have changed, offer new suggestions, and give more support and encouragement. They are one of the best, if not the best organization we have dealt with, and we have had many organizations on this journey. QUESTIONS FOR YOUR THERAPY PROVIDER Will physical therapy be painful? People are referred to physical therapy for pain relief or to improve mobility. Your therapist will devise a treatment plan to address your specific complaints and goals for therapy. If you experience pain during therapy sessions, communicate this to your therapist. Note the intensity, frequency, and duration of pain. Your therapist can adjust your treatment plan to work around or through the pain.
