PLEASE READ AND SHARE Ceramic Coatings! What is the difference in ceramic coatings? Do they last? ... How much did it cost? These are the most common questions I hear. So I'm going to give my 25 years of experienced opinion. There are several options when it comes to ceramic coatings. The 1st thing is the hardness of the coating. Most clear coats on vehicle are 3h-4h hardness level The ceramic I use is 9h which is the hardest you can get. Some companies use lower quality ceramics without you knowing the difference! Secondly and most importantly the different levels of ceramic coatings amd how long they last. This is where people get mislead! Not all ceramic is the same! The basic ceramic coating is a simple top coat that last up to year and cost starts at $100. Then you get into the real deal of ceramic coatings. You can get 1 layer of jade quartz pro 9h ceramic coating applied on all surfaces. That starts at $800 on most vehicles and last up to 5 years. This is the most common package I offer. The final option is a multi layered ceramic coating. This is 4 layers of ceramic on all surfaces and could last a lifetime and cost starts at $1200. Cost varies on time needed for paint correction and preparation before the ceramic is applied. Please be informed before having this done. I see companies offering deals all the time. Just remember you get what you pay for. It's about after care too. I've cleaned many vehicles that have been ceramic coated by local companies I will not mention who.
