When we started making the #6 air hammer, I knew it had been around awhile. So I decided to look at the card file from old MKT. They kept track of each serial number in the card file(and yes I'm old enough to remember the card file from the library back in the day before computers). Some of the drawings that we used to manufacture the parts were dated 1913. The oldest one I could find is shown. One of the 1st #6 air hammers was produced in 1914. Pretty cool being able to make something that was designed over 100 years ago.

A brand new MKT #6 SS Air hammer being tested, paint next and ready to ship. We don't make many of them anymore, but we make a lot of parts for those that are still in service.
