Hey everyone! For anyone who is interested, we've scheduled several service opportunities next week at Eugene Field Elementary School. We don't know the specifics, but the gifted education program at Eugene Field has asked for volunteers to help with presenting an engineering unit, which should hopefully be a nice change of pace compared to engineering classes as we've come to know them. The classes will be held Tuesday through Friday, all from 10:15-11:30 AM. Directions to the school can be found on the sign-up link listed below: https://docs.google.com//1no2l3PNcpY0LTUVwhZdH_EaEIg/edit
Tomorrow is annual BE tech elective panel! Whether you're curious about whether a specific class is interesting or useful, or you have no idea what electives you want to take, we'll have a panel of upperclassmen ready to answer any of your questions. Once again we will have ice cream for all who attend and our Bioengineering t-shirts for sale in case you need some more green for St, Patty's Day!
Our first general membership meeting of the semester will be tomorrow at 4 P.M. in room 107 of Agricultural Engineering! Dr. Hsieh will be speaking about his career and research here at Mizzou! Additionally, we'll discuss other upcoming events this semester. Mizzou Bioengineering t-shirts will be sold and there will be FREE ice cream. Hope to see you all there!

The next meeting is 4:00 tomorrow, November 13, in AEB 105. Nervous about scoring that all-important internship or REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) for next summer? Interested in studying abroad but still intimidated or unsure? We're here to help with the annual Internship, REU, and Study Abroad panel, where upperclassmen who have been through the whole ordeal will talk and answer questions about every step of the process: finding programs/positions, applying, interviewing, and anything else you're curious about.
