ACTION NEEDED TODAY, 4/27! Yesterday, the House Professional Registration Committee voted to add PT Direct Access as an amendment to HCS SB 9. We want all legislators in the House and the Senate to know that direct access to PT services is SAFE, and patients should be allowed to choose direct access to PT if they wish to do so. Please ask your Senator and Representative TODAY to SUPPORT direct access to physical therapy in HCS SB 9 and any other legislation that may include PT direct access language.

As of this afternoon, March 19, 2021, 30 members have responded to the Legislative Action Alert and asked their State Rep to support HB 367. We can do better. We NEED to do better. Here's all it takes, and I've even created a video to walk you through the process. 1. Download the APTA Action App. 2. Choose State Ad...vocacy, then scroll to and select Missouri 3. Choose Legislative Action Center. Use your APTA website username/password if prompted to sing in. 4. Choose Take Action, then Take Action again under Missouri Issues. 5. Add andy personal comments or experience to the body of the letter (if you want), scroll to the bottom and click "Go!" That's it!
