Midwest Shearing

Hot summer day shearing at the zoo. We got a special treat this year when we were asked to share for a zoo. Had a blast and saw a lot of very unique animals.

Today we sheared alpacas, llamas, vicuna/alpaca, and one baby doll sheep.

This weekend was mostly work. Bloomsbury farms has a really stuff to play on.. so we took a 5-minute break. Lol @ Atkins, Iowa

These ladies have been halter broke, sheared and are now for sale.

Shearing weekend number two. Alpacas and llamas have a lot to say.

And we are off. We have started our shearing season. Shearing is an essential part of owning alpacas and we will do our part and our best to ensure the safety of our family and our clients. We are looking forward to meeting new clients and revisiting with long time clients.

We have completed our Nebraska/Iowa route, and that completed our scheduled Shearing season.

One more day left on our Iowa Nebraska route. Today we finished nine farms.
