Adam and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone again for their support of Midwest Quilt Company. It has been a great 6 years, filled with laughter, food and beautiful quilts. We thank you for letting us serve your quilting needs during this time and wish you the very best. The shop will remain open during normal weekday business hours (T-F 9-5) until July 3rd. We are having an air conditioned 'yard sale' of non fabric items such as sewing extension table, vintage working machines that are deeply discounted, and other items as well as shop samples. Midwest Quilt Company will be closing it's doors at the end of June. While we no longer have any bolted fabric or notions for sale we will be having a Buy The Pound Fabric Sale on Thurs. June 18-Sat. June 20 during normal business hours- WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! This fabric sale is made up of Adam and my personal stashes that have grown out of control since we opened the business 6 years ago. There is also quite of an assortment of other fabrics that have 'magically appeared' ...in our shop. Cost is $10/pound (which is 2 1/2-3 yards of fabric). Also included at the time of this sale: home décor items, shop samples including queen size quilts, (not my yo-yo quilt, it has come home to my house ), vintage machines from Adam's collection and remaining furniture. For Sale: 2012 Gammill Longarm with Vision set up and EZ Quilter computerize (yes you can go hand guided or computerized with a flick of the switch!) plus so many accessories/batting.- Call Adam for info/price on the Longarm (660)752-6323. We WILL CONTINUE to sell HWY 36 QUILT TRAIL KITS until our doors close. As of July 1st you can pick up kits at The Quilt Shoppe in Wheeling as well as free patterns there and other places posted on the quilt trail website hwy36quilttrail.com.
