What an exciting day for Danielle and Marty! They FINALLY got to have their wedding ceremony AND they found out they are having a baby girl! Yay!!! It was a pleasure to work with Danielle over the past year to redesign her thrifty dress find to fit her style and baby bump! Congrats!!!

Happy First Communion to Claire today! Doesn’t she look adorable in this ivory raw silk dress I made from her mom’s wedding gown with a few added details of a delicate lace hem and pearl buttons!

I had the honor of making my niece’s first communion dress and veil. It made me so happy that she loved it as much as I did! She looks absolutely beautiful!!

My students are getting ready for summer and made beach bags with bamboo handles. They turned out so cute!!! Good job girls!

Congrats to Miss Hattie on her first Communion today! She looks so pretty in the dress I made her from her mom’s wedding gown (One down, two more to go....stay tuned )

History Lesson: Elizabeth Keckly’s success as a seamstress in the mid 1800’s allowed her to purchase her own freedom while living in St. Louis. You go girl!

Congrats to the adorable Jacki and Tom who tied the knot this past fall! Jacki first reached out to me to make her this custom bird cage veil with hand sewn rhinestones, then I went ahead and altered her stunning gown! It was a pleasure to work with you and get your ready head to toe for your big day! (These awesome pics by Dear Hart Photography were worth the wait!)
