Happy release day, Patrick Luther: Horror/Dark Fantasy Writer!
Thank you for sending me a copy of The Curse of House Corbant, Patrick Luther: Horror/Dark Fantasy Writer! Information about how to get your own copy is in the comments!
A client sent over a new testimonial about our experience working on his developmental edit. Thanks, Kevin! "My manuscript was tainted with plot holes and faulty character build. Being a writer who has yet to be published, having a busy work schedule, plus simply being the author I’m far too close to my work to effectively buffer those errors out. With Megan’s developmental edits, I am equipped with the comments and pointers I need to fix it. This is an editor I would definitely recommend to any writer, but especially to other unpublished authors. Also, she is personable, friendly, and interested in good conversation, which is always fun." Read more testimonials here: https://mharriseditor.com/testimonials/
Happy Star Wars Day! Here is one side of my front door sign courtesy of AI Creations by Abbie! My kiddo went off to school with a Princess Leia shirt (yes, it was mine lol) and a May the Fourth Be with You mask from a classmate's family. Hope you're all doing well!
After all this time? Always.
System of a Down and Sigur Rós How about you?
104 years. What a life! She will be sorely missed.
I literally talked to a new client about this yesterday - that DnD's origins are Lord of the Rings.
Cool explanation of something I've always wondered about but always been too lazy to look up! Have you seen the dash when reading fiction?
Make this year the year your polish your manuscript or get help writing a synopsis or book blurb. Message me for details!
New year, so trying new hairstyles! Hope your 2021 is kicking off nicely!
I've been working on building better habits and found an app that gamifies it! Here's my little character so far. The app is Habitica if you wanted to check it out. I also am going to use a paper planner in the new year while also maintaining Google Calendar for planning. I can't wait to keep building good habits!
Confession: in high school we saw the 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet, but I never saw the 1996 version until this weekend! And I loved it! It may have a more modern setting but it told the story well and kept most of the dialogue. And I don't know why it took so long for DiCaprio to get an Oscar. The talent was evident even then when he was still very young. Highly recommend! What's something new you watched or did this weekend?
