Saturday, 11/9, there will be a resale type Christmas craft supply sale, plus some Christmas decorations, on sale at the Preservation Society Historic School on Maupin Street in New Haven. Open between 8:00 and 2:00. Please stop by for bargains.

The New Haven Preservation Society would like to thank everyone who helped make our 30th Christmas candle light house tour a success. Special thanks to all the homeowners and the patrons at Senate Grove Methodist Church who put in so much effort to decorate so beautifully. The variety was fabulous and each place was wonderful. Merry Christmas!

The Christmas candlelight house tour will be held on Sunday, December 2 between 3:00 and 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at each location on the day of the tour. On display will be: the Senate Grove Church, 4799 Hwy. VV; the Talley home, 215 Etlah Rd.; the Bertrand home, 111 Main St.; the Terschluse home, 211 Pecan St.; the Shockley home, 206 Melrose St.; and the Historic New Haven school, 810 Maupin St....... all in and around New Haven. Cost is $10.00. Please join us!

The New Haven Preservation Society is looking for one more home for the Christmas Candlelight House Tour this year. The date is Sunday, December 2. Message me if you are interested or if you can suggest someone who loves to decorate for Christmas. We are always happy to add people to our list.

Our Candlelight Christmas House Tour is held on Sunday, December 3rd. We have 4 local homes on the tour all decked out in their holiday best. Included in the cost of only $10.00, we will have an antique toy display at our Historic New Haven School. In addition to all of this, you will be able to visit our new A Journey Begins museum and enjoy some Christmas cookies at the school. Thank you to all who follow our page. The good news is - we are working on new displays on the basement of the old school. We will try to keep you informed. The sad news is, we will not be able to rent our social rooms through the summer because the street in front of our building is being totally redone. This will present problems for parking, etc. We will let you know when all is again in order. Thank you for your support.
