Update: I was diagnosed originally but progressively could breathe less and less. I took myself to the ER because being winded by walking around my apartment s...houldn’t be a thing. The ER test for covid came back negative but I tested positive for pneumonia. The ER cleared me to work, but I’m still going to be taking the week off and will be returning 5/3. Girls got to be able to breathe before working. I’ve started to reach out to some, but keep waiting on my text to reschedule. It will be coming soon!

I recently tested positive for COVID and my body is feeling it hard! I am not allowed to be around people for 10 days from today and cannot go back to work until I am symptom free with no fever. Being fully booked, this is not convenient for anybody. All I ask is for your understanding and patience. I will be pushing everybody’s appointment out about a week to a week and a half depending on how it lands. Already working 12hr shifts and not having access to the salon but 3 days a week this is the only option. So over the next week I’ll be clearing out my books and reaching out to everybody to get them rescheduled. The faster you reply, the more likely you are to get the quickest opening. When it is your turn to be rescheduled, I’ll send you 3 opening options and wait 2 hours before offering it to somebody else. So be watching! This week I received the comment that my guest learned more about their hair in the couple hours they were at their appointment than they had their entire life.... To me that is one of the largest compliment. It is my job as your stylist to educate on what products are best for your hair and the why behind it. Not only that, but when it comes to selecting the proper treatment or color technique it is my job to communicate what each entails, price points and maintence. Then recommend which you should do and we can make an informed decision together. My rule of thumb. I always disclose pricing/procedure before every starting a service. We think about the products we are using often, but it’s easy to overlook the tools we are using and how they could be changing the overall result of our hair. Here is the run down. Wet/Damp Hair - use a wide tooth comb or the Pro Detangler by Wet Brush ... Basically, you don’t want bristles that will be prone to breakage for your hair. When your hair is wet it is extremely more likely to stretch and snap. You need to be gentle and work from the ends up after applying a leave in conditioner. Be kind to your hair ladies! The boar bristle brush will come into play on dry hair. The boar bristles will help cleanse the scalp of product build up (we all know how dry shampoo can feel if we aren’t getting it all distributed...). It also helps enhance the shine and strength of your hair. To sum it up, the brush you are using 100% will directly correlate with the health of your hair.
