This was one of Tyler's best driving nights I have seen. The car was so loose it was like ice racing. He drove it to a 4th place finish against a lot of really good cars.

Some of Tyler's family showed up for the win on Saturday night.

Tyler gets a win with only one more week of racing left and a decent points lead.

Tyler won his heat and finished second in the feature to take the points lead for the season. A wild start marred the start of the 25-lap Budweiser NASCAR Modifieds headliner and swept up co-points leader Scotty Allen in the process, bringing out a red flag on the second lap after a gaggle of cars came together and machines became mangled in a chain reaction. When racing began in earnest, David Bates brought the field to green as new points leader Tyler Scott worked through ...the field. It took Scott all of seven laps to get from sixth to the bridesmaid's position, and the two-time defending series champion cut into Bates' advantage out front. As the laps wound down, Scott continued to slowly erase the leader's edge, but Bates' consistent circuits were enough to keep the young gun at bay. Scott ran out of time as Bates went wire-to-wire for his first feature win of the season. Scott had a great night, though, claiming the top spot in the standings and giving himself a real chance at a third straight title. Terry Taylor scored a podium finish in third.

Won the feature after getting caught up in a first lap wreck. This has been expensive for a lot of folks the last couple of weeks with the single heat race form...at. Winning the feature and still losing a point in the standings puts so much emphasis on the heat race that this single heat race format with all the faster cars in the back is going to cause far too many incidents, especially when it has very little to do with where you start in the feature. With 5 points difference in positions in the heat race and only 4 points difference in the feature, the single heat race format is only going to cost teams a lot of money in repairs. We went 2 1/2 years without major repairs, and we have had to rebuild the car the last two weeks. Something seems wrong there. Half of cars that race weekly are still in the race for the championship, I would like to see them race for it rather than have it decided by attrition. See more
