It’s my understanding, that part deals with ATVs only, and is actually referring to the bicycle safety flag. If you are in the ATV category, and I’m not aware of any who are, that’s an entirely different matter. Again, my earlier posts were not meant to be all-inclusive, just a friendly reminder of a few of the points. Again, I’m sorry for the confusion. Here’s a copy of the ordinance.

We can’t investigate, and or document, crimes that we are unaware of. Please contact us, as in the City Police Department, when crimes occur here. Please don’t rely on another agency, or even technology. Glitches happen, and we don’t always get messages.... The City is our responsibility, not the County or State. Those agencies are busy enough with their own areas of responsibility. Again, please report things to us at the City PD, If it’s within our jurisdiction, we will do our best to investigate, and document the event. Thanks!

Our system of justice always works best, when we work together for a common cause. This is even more important when working cases involving possible juveniles. We are asking for everyones complete cooperation with the cases we are currently working. I cannot express how inappropriate, dangerous, and unacceptable it is to list any juvenile’s name on social media in reference to cases.... If you have a name we need to know about, please contact us privately. Please don’t make our jobs harder by lashing out on social media, and give us time to do what we do. Thank You!

If your coming to the COVID testing today at the fairgrounds, all traffic is entering and exiting by way of the main gate. Please follow the direction of the National Guardsmen on-site, unless directed otherwise by law enforcement. Thanks!

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart I announce Sheriff Andy Clark of DeKalb County Missouri was killed on duty in a car crash while responding to assist one of his deputies. If you wish to cancel call a number, they will then attempt to get your information. I have attached an example of the message.
