Earlier this week- showing Scott the way around the office. I think I’ve overwhelmed him. A little about Scott Branam (different spelling from Mary Katherine McMikle Branum) A Dogwood native, Scott grew up mostly in East Prairie, Mo., and graduated from East Prairie high school in 1994 . He then Attended Mid-America Mortuary college in Jeffersonville, Indiana. While in high school he worked for the Shelby funeral home in East Prairie and after graduating from Mortuary sc...hool worked at the Cotrell funeral home in Poplar Bluff. Although He has been out of the funeral business a number of years. I look forward to working with him and molding him into our work family and the standards that we have always held at McMikle’s. He is a licensed funeral director and is in the process of reinstating his embalmers license. Hopefully to be done soon. He is a compassionate and considerate person and I feel we are fortunate to add him to our McMikle team. If he can put up with me he’s got it made!

In every successful business, your support staff is the glue that will hold everything together. Melinda Heaton of Sikeston works in our Charleston office as well as the Sikeston office. She assists with funerals and keeps our offices running top notch.
