Angel Tree Project

It’s that time of year again.

Well, it’s done for another year. The distribution was a little different but the volunteers were still eager to help. Thank you to the ladies at New Life Church for making us breakfast. Thank you to Lizzy G’s for lunch. Thank you to our little helper Sam that wanted to get in on a little traffic direction. Thank you mostly to this awesome community that is so willing to help others. God is still working in people’s lives.

We are open and ready for business. If you are ready to come and get your bags, come on, no matter what your card says. Things are going very smoothly and we are ahead of schedule. Thanks

Postcards were sent out on Tuesday. With any luck you will have your card by next week. Delivery day is Saturday, December 19th. Your postcard will reflect the time you need to be here, starting at 10AM. If you have not received your card by Friday, December 18th - message us. Things will be different this year. You will check in at the tent and then asked to weave your vehicle through the parking lot and line up. Please stay in your car! There will not be restrooms available. When we start, you will pull up under the awning and we will bring your bags to the car. This is our attempt to keep you and our volunteers safe. PLEASE SHARE

Just a friendly reminder, if you still have a tag or bag we will really need it returned to wherever you picked it up. If there is something we can do to help with that, let us know. We have about 50 bags outstanding. Thank you all for your support.

ATTENTION! New Life Church has an offer for Angel Tree recipients. They want provide a bilingual New Testament bible to all the kids. We will be helping with this project but they could use some help as it will cost about $1800. A few ways you can help: 1) pray they can reach this goal. 2) make a donation either in person or you can use PayPal on our website and make a note what it is for. 3) Share this post like crazy so other churches and people can see it. Folks, this is... really what Angel Tree is about. Showing God’s love and we can’t think of a better way than by putting his written word in the hands of kids in McDonald County. If you feel more comfortable ordering them and getting them to us you can do that. Just message us or New Life Church in Anderson to get the details.
