Another Artsy day at Mccaughen & Burr Fine Arts. Saturday we brought together four beautiful young women from around the globe to model for Roland Burrow’s new series of paintings. The girls modeled clothing styles and floral arrangements that they believed represented their native cultures. It was a day filled with much love, excitement, and positive vibes. Continue to follow us here as well as mccaughenandburr.com to see the final paintings as Roland brings these images to life on canvas. https://www.magisto.com/video/fnkjQ1MGBQcuPCkGDmEwCXh7

During this Sunday’s annual Holiday Walk in Old Webster the air was filled with the joyous sounds of the season. Two local musicians Celia Alexander (age 12) on the violin and Olivia King (age 12) on the cello provided holiday music for their fans and the scores of people who came in to the gallery to view our paintings. Please enjoy some holiday cheer!

Recently we had the pleasure of hosting a welcome home party for the first runner up in the Miss America pageant Jennifer Davis. Jenn is the reigning Miss Missouri. Smart and beautiful, we wish her the very best as she represents our state this coming year.

In our never ending quest to bring the finest musicians that the region has given us, on September 15th we really outdid ourselves. Marquise Knox, a soon to be legendary blues player entertained an overflowing crowd with his mix of traditional Delta Blues and Contemporary sound. Thank you to Marquise and all that came, we hope to see you at the next show!
