Maywood Family, It is with a heavy heart that I share this news: Shane Kampe passed away unexpectedly this past week. We will host his Celebration of Life at Maywood Baptist Church at noon on Saturday, February 12th. ... Shane’s life was a miracle and a powerful story of what God can do. God’s healing and transformation of Shane’s life was a major catalyst to bring so much new life to Maywood and our neighborhood in the past two decades. While thousands got to know Shane’s amazing story, we at Maywood (and others close to him) got to see his daily testimony to Jesus through so much humble service and so many joyful friendships. Shane often spoke of how gracious God had been with him and how blessed he was. Truly we all felt Shane was a gracious blessing in our lives. We will miss him dearly till we see him again with our Lord Jesus. Jesus thank you for giving us the time we did have with Shane. -Coach Jake

It is a unique opportunity to go deeper with others and literally serve them at the same time! Anyone is welcome to sign up no matter how long you’ve been attending....
