UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! WE did IT!!!!! Because of your generosity, we EXCEEDED our goal! WE have 117 coats for 117 children!!! And... we did it in 4 days!!! And because of YOU a LARGE part of these coats of love are BRAND NEW! You guys answered the call and I’m so very appreciative of YOUR love and commitment to community!!! YOU did that!!!! WHEN: Starting THIS Sunday, from 11AM until 3PM or until every coat is gone - The Abdul-Wakil M Kamal Memorial Foundation & Matin House will give EVERY child a coat! I’m try this again! We are down to needing 94 coats! In my closet alone I pulled out these gems! 3 Michael Kors, 2 North Face and 1 LL Bean!... The Ask: Go through YOUR closet and your kid’s closet after church, the Masjid or the temple/synagogue or after cocktails! You’ll be in a much more generous mood either way! New or gently used and COATS only please and thank you! This is not the opportunity to get rid of what you yourself don’t want! It is an opportunity to be a blessing to a child in need, AMEN! I’ll also take cash, credit/debit and yes gift cards. I don’t do Walmart, after the killing of John Crawford III. Therefore, you’d have to go there yourself.
