As a mental health therapist, it is clear to me that touch plays such a major role in our development as healthy human beings. Whether it is a hug when we are celebrating or grieving, holding our child's hand or a getting the knots worked out of our muscles, touch can sooth, connect and revitalize us. Several years ago I made the decision to become a massage therapist. And it confirmed that therapeutic touch can be gift when it communicates understanding and experience. In... my practice, I stress the importance of listening to you and your body. Sometimes we want to be pampered and sometimes we have muscle and fascia issues that need to be addressed. Massage does not need to be painful to be effective. My goal is not to hurt you but to create a space that helps heal and relax you. To that end, I provide meditative massage that employs a very light touch which allows you to relax and drift away! I also offer Swedish massage, Myofascial release therapy, cupping, and Reiki. I also provide out-call massage for clients in palliative and hospice care.
