At the 2021 Great Lakes Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet, the Maryville women's team took sixth place while the Saints men finished in ninth in the team standings. Casey Berberich won the women's heptathlon with a total of 4,856 points to highlight the Maryville weekend and was named the GLVC co-Female Field Athlete of the Year. Both the Saints men's and women's squads had five top-five performances in Rolla, Mo. Ryan Davis was Maryville's male nominee and Edina Catic was the female nominee for the GLVC's James R. The Maryville men's golf team finished in seventh place at the NCAA Midwest/Central Tournament Saturday at Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City, Mo.. The Maryville men’s basketball team toppled No. 7 Truman State 90-83 for its first win over a ranked team since beating No. 21 Lewis 73-62 Jan. 10, 2015. Owen Long poured in 30 points, and Ari Jackson tallied 21 points to pace the Saints. No. 7 Truman State is the highest ranked team the Saints have defeated since beating No. 4 Bellarmine Jan. 12, 2013.
