I’ve been getting questions lately regarding process. Here I’ve included scans as I’ve finished steps on this 8x 10 home portrait. First shot, finished, tape removed, ready to mail. Second, main photo supplied by client. Third, preliminary pencil sketch, so I know where everything goes. Fourth, watercolors added of basic colors. Fifth, ink details, water color glazes for depth, shadows and splatter for interest.
