We are saddened by the passing of Robert G Marx. As an opportunity to pay our last respect to a wonderful husband, father, Grandad, brother & Uncle and Dentist as well as a great man to his community, services will be as follows. Both events will be held at Antioch Bible Baptist Church 800 NE 72nd Street in Gladstone Visitation -Thursday, Sept 30th from 4 pm to 6 pm. Funeral - Friday, Oct 1st at 10 am.... It is with great sadness that I must tell you that Dr. Robert Marx passed away in his sleep Saturday night. As his patient you know that he cared deeply about you. He wanted his patients to get the very best in dental care, but more than that he wanted you to be happy in your life. Doctor Emily Marx, his daughter, will be taking over your care. She follows in his footsteps with the same care that her father provided. He would want you to know that the practice that he created... will survive long after he is no longer with us. In my heart of hearts, I know he is doing fine and he would want you to know how much he cared about you. We are planning a memorial in his honor and once those plans are finalized, we will let you know should you wish to attend. Sincerely, Terri Marx

Dental Hygiene Assistant Marx Family Dental is looking for an energetic, upbeat person to join our team. Prefer someone that has basic dental training and a minimum of 1 year in office training/experience. Our hygiene assistants are trained into full dental assistants for our office. Must be willing to train as a team member. This office provides most dental services in a single location.

We are open .......for all your dental needs! We want you to be assured we are going beyond the recommendations to provide you with a safe environment for all your dental needs. Our dental office is one of the safest environments you can be in because of our long-established attention to infection control. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example: We will give you the option to wait in your car for your appointment time- you can check in ...via text or a phone call- we will text/call when we are ready for you. Additional measures we are taking: Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office. We will be taking your temperature upon your arrival. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. We will be handing you a face mask upon your arrival if you are not wearing one. You may see that our reception area will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. You will be asked to practice social distancing in the reception area; we have fewer chairs and they are placed 6’ apart. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time Our staff will be wearing additional appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) IE: Mask, face shields, gowns See more
