The Spring Book Fair for the Middle & Elementary school is open to purchase books at the times listed below. Students in all classes will have a chance to preview the book fair and make a wish list of books they are interested in, to discuss with parents. Students can bring money to school with them (in an envelope with their name on it), or parents can come in during the hours below and purchase with cash, check, debit or credit card. There is sales tax applied to items p...urchased. Wednesday 3/1 - 8:15am-4:00pm Thursday 3/2 - 8:15am-4:00pm ***and open during the evening for 3/2 Reading/Fitness night 6:00pm-7:30pm*** Friday 3/3 - 8:15am-4:00pm Monday 3/6 - 8:15am-4:00pm Tuesday 3/7 - 8:15am-11:30am Our book fair is also open online 2/27-3/2. www.scholastic.com/bf/martincityelementaryschool Orders made online will be delivered to the school, so you don't have to pay shipping. The Scholastic Book Fair has books for K-8th grade reading levels! It is a great way to get your kids reading, and support our school at the same time. Purchases at the Book Fair also help provide more books for the classrooms! Students and/or parents can make purchases on the following days: Mon Nov 14 - 12:30pm-4:00pm... Tue Nov 15 - 8:15am-4:00pm Wed Nov 16 - 8:15am-4:00pm Thur Nov 17 - 8:15am-4:00pm, and 5:30-8:00pm **shop before and after the K & 1st grade Musical Performance Fri Nov 18 - 8:15am-12 noon Debit, Credit, Cash & Check accepted. Another fun Monday morning at Martin City K-8...in honor of Nation Pirate Day. Aaarrrrgggh....make it a great day! The kids were full of smiles walking in. We have cool teachers and staff!

We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that donated jeans and tennis shoes for children in the Martin City community! We made our first drop off at Premier... Mazda and Rob Sight Ford last week. Your generosity has made a lot of kids very happy and their school day a little easier. Thank you! See more

The first Family Dining Night of the year is next week at Papa Murphy's (at 123rd & State Line). Get a pizza - bake it at home - a percentage of all sales on Tues 9/6, between 11:00am-9:00pm (as long as this picture is shown or a printed flyer turned in) comes back to Martin City PTA! Share this on your page, so even more people can show this post at checkout. The class with the most participants will receive a pizza and cookie party from Papa Murphy's! Second place class... receives a popcorn party! Bring the flyer (coming home with students) or show this picture and provide your name, teacher's name, and grade, to be given/shown to the cashier when you pay. Pizzas are made to order, right in front of you, gluten free crust is also available. You just take them home and bake!
